How to Make
- Colour in your headband with a deco pen. We used purple. Leave to dry.
- Use the French knitting guide and cast on and knit six rows in your colour choice.
- Tie on the second colour choice and knit six rows.
- Repeat until you have nine coloured stripes, then cast off your knitting.
- At one end of your knitting, make a gap and feed your headband through the length of it until it is completely covered.
- Use your needle to find any loose threads and to pull them to the inside of the headband, so that they are neatly hidden away.
Top Tip
Tuck your loose ends inside the striped strand as you knit.
