How to Make
- Take two boxes of the same height.
- Set both boxes up with a cardboard tube acting as a bridge. Leave a gap in the middle for your paper.
- Tape the tube to the box so that it will not roll off.
- Now take your cup and poke a hole in the centre using a pencil.
- Trim the edges of the hole so that it’s a clean flow when paint is added later and cover with masking tape on the underneath.
- Attach 3 pegs onto the rim of the cup and then thread a length of string through the springs and tie it. Then, take another length of sting and hang the front of the string just tied so that it hangs directly in the centre of the cup.
- Tie this to the cardboard tube so that the cup hangs about 2 inches off the paper.
- Using a different cup, mix ½ cup of paint with pouring medium, adding water until it flows without breaking consistency.
- Ensure the hole is covered securely with masking tape and pour the paint into the cup. When the paper is in position lift the cup, pull off the masking tape and let go.
