Yarn Wrap Water Bottle Christmas Tree

How to Make

1. Prepare the up-cycled water bottle by applying double sided tape around the entire water bottle to minimise the wool slipping.
2. Then use sticky tape to secure two threads of green wool in place at the base of the bottle. Once the wool is secure begin wrapping the yarn around the bottle making sure there are no gaps.
3. Once the bottle is wrapped in yarn secure the end of the yarn with tape at the top of the bottle.
4. For the tinsel begin to wind silver and gold pipe cleaners together. Once the pipe cleaners are wound together, using tape secure one end of the wound pipe cleaners to the base of the bottle, then begin to wrap the pipe cleaner around the wool covered water bottle. Make sure to also secure the pipe cleaner at the top of the tree using tape.
5. Decorate the Christmas tree with glitter pom poms using super tacky glue and self-adhesive buttons.
6. To complete the Christmas tree, stick a silver and gold self-adhesive star to the top of the tree.

Top Tip

Using two threads of wool will make the wrapping process quicker.
