How to Make
- Use the template to cut out the envelope shape on the shiny red card. Fold along each line and place double sided tape along the two folds at the side. Peel the white plastic off the tape and stick the two sides of the envelope together. Cut a strip of double-sided tape and stick it inside the envelope flap, leaving the white plastic on the outer side. Repeat these steps with the plain red card.
- Use a sponge applicator to apply gold paint onto the bottom of the envelopes. Sprinkle gold glitter onto the paint while it is still wet. Leave to dry.
- Choose a Chinese New Year stamp and use yellow and black paint to print the design on the front of the envelopes. Leave to dry.
- Add money or chocolate coins inside your envelopes and peel the double-sided tape to secure them shut.
Top Tip
If you want a neater and flatter finish paint directly onto your stamp.
