How to Make

  1. Select wooden letters to spell MAZEL TOV, (or choose another greeting). To make a lettering stamp for printing, arrange the letters in a row then reverse the order, so the words are backwards. Use mini letters or bigger letters, depending
on your design. Stick double-sided tape along 2 wooden craft sticks, peel off the backing paper then press the wooden letters onto the tape so they are evenly spaced. Use a separate stick for each word.
  2. Make more printing stamps in the same way with mini wooden flowers and leaves. You could stick several shapes together or just have individual shape.
  3. Put some paint in a mixing tray then use a sponge finger dabber to apply paint to the wooden letters. Press the lettering onto coloured card or a folded card to make a print. Leave to dry. Make more prints around the lettering using the flower stamps.
  4. Clean the letters with a wet wipe or paper towel before printing with a different colour.
  5. Try using different colour combinations for printed messages and designs. Wooden flowers can be used as embellishments for cards with mini flower gems.

Top Tip

Before you start printing, check the letters in a mirror, as the words need to be arranged in reverse. If the words look correct in the mirror, the message will print the right way round!
