How to Make
- Take two cardboard tubes and paint them using acrylic paint.
- Take 10 coloured Craft sticks (it doesn’t matter what colours you choose) and split them into two piles of 5.
- Print out the template and write your chosen phonic in each square.
- Once the cardboard tubes are dry stick the square on using PVA.
- Write sight words that contain each phonic onto the craft sticks.
- Mix up the sticks and then try to sort the sight words into the tube with the correct Sound on the front.
Top Tip
Try adding more phonics tubes and harder sight words to make this more challenging.
