How to Make

  1. Select six pegs from the pack, then cut six rectangles of card (each the same size); the pieces of card will need to fit snugly inside the slit in the pegs when they’ve been folded in half.
  2. Fold each piece of card in half, then pair up pegs and pieces of card. Take your first pair, choose a colour, and colour the front of the card and the bottom half of the peg with a Deco Pen, as shown. Write the name of the colour inside the folded card, slot it inside the peg and put to one side.
  3. Repeat for all the remaining pairs, choosing a different colour for each. When they’re all complete, separate your pairs and mix up the cards and pegs on a table. Now you’re ready to get started with your handmade Colour Snap game!

Top Tip

Make sure you use thick card so the colour cards stay snugly inside the pegs once they've been matched
