How to Make
Step 1
Draw a rectangle onto a sheet of cardboard. This will be the base of your flag.
Step 2
Cut out the rectangle carefully.
Step 3
Apply glue to a small section of the cardboard (more info can be found in our Top Tip above!).
Step 4
Wrap a square of tissue paper around the end of a sharp pencil.
Step 5
Press (poke) the tissue-covered pencil tip into the glue to attach it. Continue in red and white stripes to create the flag pattern and blue & white “stars” in the top left corner.
Step 6
Attach a ribbon to the top for hanging and let it dry completely.
