How to Make
- Cut a cardboard tube straight down the long edge
- Measure a 4cm section with your ruler and mark it with a pencil at different points around the tube, then carefully cut around the tube following the marks.
- With a ruler mark the centre point (2cms) down the length of the bracelet and then use a ruler to draw a line through those points to help you line up your chevron pattern.
- Starting at the top point, place the first piece of sliver tape. Then line the next piece up so that it sits over the first piece and the point makes a right-angle.
- Place the next two pieces of gold washi tape above to fill in the missing corners.
- Continue around the tube, alternating the silver and gold tape.
- Remove the excess tape with scissors.
- To make the other bracelets, decorate accordingly.
Top Tip
For extra durability, apply varnish over the top to seal the washi tape.
