How to Make

  1. Take two paper plates and turn them over so the white back is showing. Paint both blue and leave to dry.
  2. Once dry, color the inner circle in the design of the plate with silver glitter pen. Leave to dry again.
  3. In the mean time select 17 mini metallic bells in purple, silver and blue. Once the glitter is dry, arrange 9 around the edge of one of the plates and eight around the edge of the other.
  4. Secure them in position with a glue gun. Then, once this is dry, line the plates up with the bells facing outwards (but the bells shouldn’t line up) and stick together, using the picture as a guide.

Top Tip

You can also change the sound by punching holes around the outside of the plates and threading the bells onto string which is then fed through the holes and secured in a knot.
