How to Make

  1. Using a craft knife cut a piece of red board card 25cm x 12.5cm, mark the centre and score. Rub out the pencil lines.
  2. Cut a piece of white glitter card 10.5cms x 10.5cms. Using a snowflake stamp and silver ink pad, stamp the pattern all over the card. If you do not have a stamp you can use metallic silver pen to draw the pattern. Practice your pattern first to avoid any mistakes. Allow the ink to dry.
  3. On the back of the glitter card square, stick on a self-adhesive sheet cut to size. Peel off the backing and stick the glitter card onto the front of the red card with a 1cm border all around.
  4. On a piece of tracing paper draw your 3 baubles (graduating in size) and filigree branch designs. Ensure they are the correct size for the card.
  5. Take the red glitter card and transfer the largest and smallest bauble onto the back. Transfer the medium bauble onto the white glitter card in the same way. Cut them out using a craft knife.
  6. Take the smallest bauble and on the righthand side stamp or draw snowflakes, using silver stamp/pen. Allow to dry before sticking on a snowflake stone and 2mm gems.
  7. Place the large bauble centrally onto the card. Use blue tack to hold in position. Transfer the filigree branch from the left side of the card going across the bauble too. Using the silver metallic Giotto decor pen go over the design.
  8. To fill in the spaces add glitter dots using glitter glue and silver pen. Also add snowflake stones to add some interest to the design. Allow all to dry.
  9. Gently peel the large bauble off the front and remove the blue tack. On the back of all the baubles stick on self-adhesive dots. Peel off the backing on the large bauble first. Ensure it is lined up exactly in the same position as when transferring filigree branch and stick it down. Follow on with white medium bauble, positioning with an even border all around and then again with the small red bauble.

Top Tip

Draw the filigree branch & bauble designs onto tracing paper as it is easier to transfer onto the card
